One pound of cake serves roughly 4–6 small dessert slices. So a 3 lb cake comfortably serves a small family gathering, while 7–10 lbs suits larger parties.
Suggested Sizes by Event
- Intimate (up to 12 people): 2–3 lbs
- Family party (15–25): 4–5 lbs
- Big celebration (30–45): 7–8 lbs
- Weddings & large events: 10–15 lbs or multi-tier
